Running (and Losing)

Hello!  It’s been a while.  Miss me?  I’ve missed updating you all on my progress!!  Even though I haven’t been posting to the blog, I have actually made some serious progress in my half-marathon training.

QUICK STAT: As of 10/28/11 my stats are 159 activities completed, 631 miles accumulated, and 94,003 calories burned SINCE FEBRUARY this year!! My half marathon is in 9 days and I think I’m ready.  What do you think?  🙂

Since my last post, here are the specifics:

  • 10/11 – 3.1mi in 00:28:57
  • 10/12 – 12mi in 01:01:49
  • 10/15 – 3.1mi in 00:30:02
  • 10/17 – 10mi in 01:52:00
  • 10/20 – 3mi in 00:29:29
  • 10/21 – 6mi in 01:01:52
  • 10/23 – 12mi in 01:56:02
  • 10/25 – 3mi in 00:29:37
  • 10/28 – 6mi in 01:01:47
Here’s the best part:  I bought jeans last weekend.  The waist?  SIX INCHES smaller than in February! Today, I’m proudly wearing my 34×32 jeans (I can breathe) and a size MEDIUM shirt.  Yeah – that rocks.   I could not have done this without everyone’s support!! THANK YOU!
